Former AEW women’s champion Nyla Rose issues response to transphobic comment from fan
Former AEW women’s champion Nyla Rose participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge to support Rebel, who was diagnosed with the disease in early 2026. A Twitter/X user commented on Nyla’s video by writing, “You still look like a man, especially with that hairline sir.”
Here was Nyla’s response…
“Oh nooooo you’ve hurt my feelings and made me soooooooooooo sad by saying things that are completely obvious to literally anyone who isn’t vision impaired… only difference is I’m comfortable and confident enough to rock with it while you hide behind a anime picture because you’re a coward and can never live up to being the man you wish you were 🤭 tee hee.”

Nyla then explained why she bothered to reply…
“I replied so that he knows he didn’t win. He didn’t get to me. It doesn’t affect me. I literally giggled and finish eating my cliff bar.🤷🏽♀️ people will continue to do f*cked up sh*t until they’re checked so I checked him. Other people will see it and know that this kind of sh*t doesn’t bother me… it just doesn’t. I’m not gonna unravel over these kinds of statements. I have a different outlook on my transness personally idk what to tell ya..🤷🏽♀️and THEY are in fact wasting THIER time.”
