WWE makes announcement regarding plans for the SmackDown television debut of Royce Keys
As seen during the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble PLE, Royce Keys (formerly Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW) made his debut with the company in the men’s Rumble match. Since then, Keys has wrestled in dark matches but has not appeared on television, other than clips being shown from his interview with Stephanie McMahon.
WWE has finally made an announcement regarding the SmackDown television debut of Keys. WWE posted a video along with the following message on Twitter/X…
“‘I refuse to be defined by where I’m from, but instead by where I’m going.’ From East Palo Alto to the world stage, @RealRoyceKeys’ journey has shaped him into the man he is today. Keys writes another chapter in his story when he makes his official #SmackDown debut TOMORROW!!”
