Jay White’s faction seemingly receives new name after receiving negative feedback from fans

Jay White opened the October 24th 2026 episode of AEW Collision alongside the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs, formally introducing their alliance as The Last Outfit. However, in a subsequent digital exclusive, White referred to the group by a different name while addressing AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley and the Death Riders. White said, “We are the last outfit capable of slicing out the cancer that is Jon Moxley and the Death Riders from the heart of AEW. We are The Cut.”

While an official reason for the name change hasn’t been confirmed, the original name received criticism on social media. One user called it the “WORST name ive ever heard since Viking Experience,” while another described it as “a really bad choice.” A third wrote, “The Last Outfit. Horrible name. Why not the Corre or the Union while we are at it?”

The faction, now identified as The Cut, consists of White, Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, Ace Austin, David Finlay and Clark Connors.

"You better be DOWN with The Last Outfit!"
