News regarding stipulation matches potentially being added to the WWE WrestleMania 42 card
According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is reportedly considering “natural adjustments” to the card for WrestleMania 42, including the possible addition of stipulations to some marquee matches. The idea is not to overhaul the lineup but to strategically enhance certain matches.
One concept being discussed involves placing a stipulation match early in the show as part of the preview on ESPN channels. The strategy is that a visually striking or high-stakes match type could attract the attention of casual viewers and encourage them to continue watching the full broadcast on the premium service.
The first hour of WrestleMania 42 will air on ESPN television networks before the full broadcast moves to streaming. Both nights of the event will begin at 6:00 PM ET, with Night 1’s opening hour airing on ESPN2 and Night 2’s opening hour airing on ESPN. After the preview portion concludes, the remainder of each night will continue on ESPN’s streaming platform.
