Pat McAfee possibly finished with WWE as an announcer

Pat McAfee has not worked on WWE television as an announcer since the June 9th 2025 edition of RAW. Wade Barrett filled in for McAfee and Corey Graves stepped in after that.

In a video published to Instagram, McAfee provided an update on his status…

“I don’t think you ever say never, especially with WWE. But right now it does not feel like it is something that’s supposed to happen. It feels like that business has kind of passed me by a little bit. I grew up loving it, dreamed to work in it, feel honored that I had the opportunity to work alongside the GOAT Michael Cole. But I feel like business in good spot without me. I’ll continue to watch.”

Pat McAfee revealed on his IG that he’s not returning to WWE anytime soon and may even be done with commentary.
