Results of CM Punk vs. Finn Balor at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026

CM Punk (c) vs. Finn Balor for the world heavyweight title took place at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026. Here are the highlights…

CM Punk received a special entrance. He made his way out to “Sirius” by The Alan Parsons Project, a tribute to the Chicago Bulls from the Michael Jordan era, and was introduced by former Bulls PA announcer Ray Clay.

The match started with the two men going back and forth with technical wrestling. Balor was able to counter an early GTS attempt by Punk. Balor went for the Coup de Grace, but Punk moved out of the way. Punk, whose mouth was busted open, delivered the top-rope elbow but couldn’t follow up right away. Punk applied the Anaconda Vice, but Balor escaped. Balor delivered the Coup de Grace, but Punk was able to kick out.

Punk came back with the GTS, but Balor fell to the outside. Punk went after Balor, but Balor regained the upper hand. Balor dropkicked Punk through the ringside barricade and got him back into the ring. Balor went for another Coup de Grace, but Punk countered it into a Sharpshooter. After Balor escaped, Punk delivered another GTS and got the win.

After the match, Balor wanted a handshake, but Punk hesitated. Punk eventually shook his hand. Balor left, and then AJ Lee returned to the ring to celebrate with her husband as dual champions.
