MJF on the “f*ck ICE” chants from AEW Dynamite: “We’re the listening company – We don’t censor the fans”

During the February 4th 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, fans chanted “f*ck ICE” (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as MJF’s match with Brody King began. While speaking to Ross Tucker, AEW world champion MJF commented on how his company doesn’t censor fans…

“Right now, I think what people want more than anything is rest and reprieve from all the horrible sh*t that’s going on in the world. And I’m glad that’s something I get to provide at AEW.

Another great thing about AEW is that our fans have a voice. I’ll say, literally last night we were in Vegas and they started an ‘F ICE’ chant. Now, I don’t care what side of the political line you land on—there’s no other wrestling promotion that wouldn’t censor the fans, but we don’t do that. We’re the listening company.

So if all the fans want to chant that, we’re going to let them chant that. I think that’s inherently really cool and awesome, and I think that’s what makes my company special. We don’t censor the fans, and it’s nice.”
