WWE star Santos Escobar issues first comments after making surprise return at AAA event

Santos Escobar returned from his hiatus on Saturday night with an unannounced appearance at Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide’s debut show on FOX in Latin America. He has not wrestled in WWE since a live event on July 27th 2025.

During the segment, a masked figure wearing the El Hijo del Fantasma mask confronted AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., attacked him, and then removed the mask to reveal Escobar.

In a video published by WWE, Escobar issued the following comments…

“What do you want? You want to know something about me now? Six months I was away, not one question. I show up again. Nah, it doesn’t work like that. You want to know something about me? Now it’s on my time.”
