Penta pulled from his scheduled tag team match with Rey Fenix due to shoulder injury

As seen during the November 24th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Penta’s “The Last Time Is Now” tournament match against Solo Sikoa was stopped early due to Penta suffering an injury. Penta, who was scheduled to reunite with his brother Rey Fenix at AAA Guerra De Titanes on December 20th, announced via Instagram that he has been pulled from the show.

Here is Penta’s statement which was roughly translated from Spanish to English…

“Hello, how’s it going? My friends, this is the ‘Zero Fear’ of professional wrestling, Penta, speaking to you. And today I’m here to make an announcement to all of you.

As you know, I suffered a shoulder injury a few weeks ago, and I have truly done everything possible — everything within my power, along with my doctors, both in Mexico and in the United States — to recover as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, from a medical standpoint, I am not cleared to return to the ring on December 20th.

However, I will be there with all of you in person at the show, because it’s something I simply cannot miss.

And I have great news for all of you and for everyone who will be attending this event. The wrestler who will take my place is none other than the living legend himself, Rey Mysterio. This will be the first time my brother Rey Fénix and Rey Mysterio team up together. It’s something you absolutely cannot miss. It’s something truly incredible.

So don’t miss it — I’ll see you there.

And finally, this message is for you, Dominik. This time, you got away with it. I don’t know what you did, but this time, you escaped. But let me tell you something — remember this very well. Remember it clearly in your head.

I’m not going to let up until I take that Intercontinental Championship from you. I’ll see you soon, Dominik. I’ll see you in Guadalajara — and you already know: Zero Fear.”
