News regarding how WWE tricked fans ahead of the 2025 Survivor Series PLE
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE intentionally tricked fans ahead of the 2025 Survivor Series PLE at Petco Park in San Diego. After discovering that someone in a nearby apartment was streaming the titantron testing, the company had some fun by playing entrance videos for wrestlers such as Edge, Steve Austin, and Jinder Mahal. The clips quickly circulated around the internet but none of the names shown were actually planned for the event.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted the following via Twitter/X…
“WWE had tested out their trons with wrestlers who weren’t going to be there all week. They knew there would be people trying to film, and they leaked all over Tiktok. In addition, they curtained off the ring and had another ring built backstage for rehearsals.”
