Kris Statlander (c) vs. Mercedes Mone for the AEW women’s world title took place at AEW Full Gear 2025. Here are the highlights…

The two were evenly matched in the opening moments. Statlander delivered a superplex and went for a 450 splash, but Mercedes moved out of the way. Statlander clutched her forearm on the outside, and Mercedes took advantage with a Meteora from the apron. Back in the ring, Mercedes continued to target Statlander’s arm. Mercedes delivered fourteen Amigos to Statlander and received an ovation from the fans.

Mercedes went for a frogsplash, but Statlander got her feet up. Statlander delivered a discus lariat but couldn’t make a cover right away. Statlander then applied a crossface, but Mercedes was able to counter. Statlander gave Mercedes an avalanche rib breaker but still couldn’t make a cover immediately.

After the two exchanged pin attempts, Statlander delivered a package piledriver, but Mercedes grabbed the rope. After the two countered piledriver attempts, Statlander hit the Saturday Night Fever to win the match.
