Official announcement regarding WWE NXT vs. TNA Wrestling “Invasion” show

During the 2025 No Mercy PLE, WWE NXT general manager Ava made the following announcement…

“The relationship between NXT and TNA has become extremely fractured. Last week, during Trick and Oba’s title for title match, TNA Wrestling invaded NXT, which then led to the chaos that you all saw when we went off air. After this happened, Santino and I talked for hours, trying to come up with a solution, and we finally did. On Tuesday, October 7th on the CW, NXT and TNA will bring to you an event that no one in the wrestling world thought was possible: Invasion. NXT in TNA will compete in two Survivor Series style matches, one for the men and one for the women. This Tuesday, the teams will be announced once Santino and I each make our respective pics.

Also, another match that has been officially signed off on is the NXT Tag Team Champions Dark State, versus the TNA Tag Team Champions, the Hardy Boys. Title for title, winner take all match. And also, after everything that has happened with Trick and Oba, everyone will be barred from ringside, so there will be no interruptions. There has to be a winner.
