AJ Styles says the 2025 edition of WWE SummerSlam might be his last one

While speaking to Michael Cole at the WWE SummerSlam 2025 Kickoff event, AJ Styles commented on the importance of his upcoming match against Dominik Mysterio…

“If I’m being honest with you guys — this may be my last SummerSlam. So, I plan on tearing the house down one last time at SummerSlam for you guys. It’s just — it’s very important, it’s very special to me. Again, the match with John Cena set the stone for AJ Styles’ career in WWE. SummerSlam is very special to me.”

Styles also discussed his appearance at TNA Slammiversary 2025…

“What a privilege to go back and enjoy some of those fans. I didn’t think I’d ever get the chance. The relationship between WWE and TNA is fantastic. TNA is doing great — I think WWE has a lot to do with that. It is a great relationship, and I was privileged to spend some time with them. Very grateful.”
