Potential clues regarding the future of Daniel Bryan in wrestling

It was previously reported that Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expired shortly after his match against Roman Reigns on the April 30th edition of Smackdown.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, there has been no internal discussion of Bryan returning to WWE nor is he is not listed on the company’s roster. Johnson noted that there are potential “clues” to suggest that there has been no movement towards Bryan signing a new contract…

“Bryan was not part of a recent list of talent plans for licensing and merchandising for 2021-2022 that was recently put together by the company for internal use. Bryan is not slated for any future Mattel action figure wave releases.”

While there are some people in WWE that believe Bryan has signed or will sign with AEW, there is no confirmation of what is next for him.
