Bobby Lashley vs. Swerve Strickland took place at AEW Full Gear 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Lashley dominated Swerve in the early part of the match. Lashley was so confident that he didn’t try to win when he had the chance.

* Swerve had an opportunity to make a comeback but Shelton Benjamin got on the apron and Lashley took advantage. Benjamin tried to interfere again but was caught by the referee and ejected from ringside. Swerve was able to gain the upper hand with a DDT to Lashley on the apron. Swerve then gave Lashley a Swerve stomp through the announce table.

* Back in the ring, Swerve hit the house call kick followed by another stomp but Lashley kicked out. The two ended up back on the outside of the ring and due to MVP’s distraction, Lashley was able to regain the upper hand. Lashley then speared Swerve through the ringside barricade. Lashley got Swerve back in the ring and hit a spear. Lashley applied the Hurt Lock and got the win when Swerve passed out.

* After the match, The Hurt Syndicate attacked Prince Nana.
