Rusev makes his return to WWE during the April 21st 2025 edition of RAW

As seen during the April 21st 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Otis and Tozawa were set for a tag team title match against The New Day. However, the returning Rusev interrupted the segment with new entrance music.

After The New Day fled from the ringside area, Rusev attacked Otis and Tozawa. Rusev applied The Accolade submission to Otis and then posed as fans chanted “Rusev Day!”

Deadline.com reported that Rusev had signed a two-year contract. Additionally, it was confirmed that Rusev’s wife Lana has signed a WWE Legends deal.
