Drew McIntyre attacks CM Punk during the 6/21/24 edition of WWE Smackdown in Chicago

The June 21st 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown in Chicago kicked off with a CM Punk promo that included The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes.

Later in the show, McIntyre attacked Punk but viewers didn’t see what McIntyre actually did. Punk was busted open and McIntyre carried his lifeless body out to the stage. Punk ended up being placed on a stretcher and taken out of the building in an ambulance.

Punk vs. McIntyre is rumored for the 2024 Summerslam PLE if Punk is cleared in time for the show.
