Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James in a steel cage match took place during the WWE NXT Deadline 2023 PLE. Here were the highlights…

* Kiana immediately tried to hit Roxanne with her bag but was unsuccessful. Roxanne launched Kiana into the cage and Kiana attempted to climb out of the cage.

* Kiana finally slowed down Roxanne’s momentum. Kiana put Roxanne’s hand into the cage wall and then kicked it multiple times. Kiana worked over Roxanne for a few minutes but then Roxanne made a comeback. Roxanne threw Kiana into the cage multiple times.

* Roxanne climbed to the top of the cage and Kiana went after her. Kiana gave Roxanne a powerbomb out of the corner but Roxanne kicked out. Kiana powerbombed Roxanne into the cage but Roxanne still managed to hit Pop Rocks. Roxanne made a delayed cover but Kiana kicked out.

* Kiana grabbed a steel chair from under the ring but Roxanne got the chair. However, Izzi Dame slammed the cage door on Roxanne’s face and Kiana scored the pinfall victory after using the chair.
