The latest backstage news regarding CM Punk following his return to WWE at Survivor Series

As seen during the November 27th 2023 edition of WWE RAW, CM Punk cut his first promo since returning to the company at Survivor Series and said that “almost everyone” was happy to see him back.

According to Fightful Select, Punk was seemingly in good spirits backstage. Punk reportedly spent much of the day taking photographs in an official capacity and also with talent/fans. Fightful also noted the following…

“Those that we heard from said he was on his best behavior as anticipated, and with good reason – some in WWE were told by higher ups that there is a behavior clause associated with his contract, which we’ve yet to confirm.”

There was no producer listed for Punk’s promo and the show’s title was listed as “Hell Froze Over” internally. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Punk is currently listed as a “free agent” and hasn’t been assigned to a specific brand yet.
