WWE star says he has been labeled as “racist” and people have threatened him
Back in August of 2022, Ridge Holland was interviewed about Big E suffering a broken neck during their match on the March 11th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown. Holland had noted how the incident was “a massive knock” to his confidence.
Over the weekend, Big E spoke with TMZ.com and said the following about a potential return to WWE…
“I just got to see what the scans say and then talk to doctors and go from there. Right now, before I know anything, I’m not going to make any rush to judgments or anything. See how everything looks.”
On Sunday night, Holland tweeted the following in regards to the fallout from Big E’s injury…
“Death threats. Threats to my family. Lobbying for me to lose my job. Being labeled as racist. Great stuff 👍🏻 keep ‘em coming.”
WWE announcer Samantha Irvin replied to him and wrote, “Stay strong, Ridge! We know your heart 🙏🏽.”

Xavier Woods addressed Holland’s post with the following message…
“Pro Wrestling is extremely dangerous. All of us involved understand that. Ridge & his family do not deserve to be treated this way. Please do not send any hate towards them. Instead use your energy to do something positive like sending love to E. Be kind. Please be kind.”
