Big E announces that he suffered a broken neck during WWE Smackdown
During the March 11th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown, Sheamus and Ridge Holland had a match against Kofi Kingston and Big E. Towards the end of the match, Holland gave Big E a belly-to-belly suplex on the outside of the ring but Big E landed right on his head.

After the match, Big E was stretchered to the backstage area. In the video clip below, Big E could be seen giving a “thumbs up” to the fans. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Big E was taken via ambulance to a hospital in Birmingham, AL to undergo medical testing.
Big E published a video from the hospital and announced that he was told he suffered a broken neck. However, the good news is that Big E is able to move his fingers and he stated he will be alright. Big E thanked the fans for their support and said to not worry about him.
