Former WCW star fears that AEW won’t know what to do with Mercedes Mone after a few weeks

As previously noted, Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks) is rumored to be debuting with AEW at the January 11th 2022 edition of Dynamite in Los Angeles following her NJPW debut.

During his podcast, former WCW star Konnan commented on her possibly working with AEW…

“Here’s my problem with AEW…I’m just afraid, and all you’ve got to do is look at their past history, that [Mone is] going to be there, be a big deal for a few weeks and then they won’t know what to do with her just like they didn’t know what to do with 80 percent of the stars that they brought in.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingInc.com)
