Results of Asuka and Alexa Bliss vs. Dakota Kai and Io Sky from WWE Crown Jewel 2022

Asuka and Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Dakota Kai and Io Sky for the WWE women’s tag team titles took place at WWE Crown Jewel 2022. Here are the highlights…

* Asuka and Alexa cut a pre-match promo and there was a brief interruption on the television monitor from Bray Wyatt’s logo.

* Alexa and Dakota started off with some chain wrestling and pin attempts. Asuka and Io then tagged in and went at it. Asuka was dropkicked off the top rope to the outside and Asuka started selling her knee. Dakota and Io targeted the knee.

* Alexa tagged back in and took down Dakota and Io with a double dropkick. Alexa hit Dakota with a tornado DDT but Io broke up the pin. Alexa hit a code red on Io but Io kicked out. All four ended up in the corner and there was a tower of doom superplex spot.

* Alexa went for twisted bliss but was distracted by Io. Alexa attempted to hit the move but Dakota got her knees up. Alexa tried again but Nikki Cross attacked her while the referee was distracted. Dakota the got the pin to regain the titles for her team.
