* Lashley attacked Lesnar before the match started and sent Lesnar into the steel steps. Lashley speared Lesnar in the ring and then sent Lesnar back to the outside of the ring. Lashley speared Lesnar through the ringside barricade. Lashley got Lesnar back into the ring and hit another spear but Lesnar kicked out.

* Lesnar was selling his leg but managed to counter the Hurt Lock and took Lashley to suplex city. Lesnar hit an F5 but Lashley kicked out. The fight went back to the outside and Lashley sent Lesnar into the ring post. Crowd was heavily booing Lashley at this point.

* Lashley applied the Hurt Lock. Lesnar struggled but was able to put his feet into the corner and fall back onto Lashley. The referee counted three and Lesnar was declared the winner.
* After the match, Lashley attacked Lesnar and put him in the hurt lock again.
