“Road Dogg” Brian James reportedly returning to WWE in an executive position

Back in January, WWE let go of several producers, coaches, and writers from the WWE NXT brand including “Road Dogg” Jesse James and William Regal.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, James will be returning to WWE in an executive position but James’ start date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Johnson wrote that James “is not backstage at tonight’s RAW but the word is making the rounds he’s back.” According to Twitter account @WrestleVotes, Jarrett “will assume the position Jeff Jarrett held as Senior Vice President of Live Events.”

Prior to Triple H taking control of WWE creative, James had expressed interest in working for AEW.
