WWE and New Japan are reportedly discussing a potential working relationship and you'd think New Japan was about to be poisoned. My friend who doesn't like WWE said, when I said to somebody on twitter that it's cool" to dislike WWE, he said he was sh---ing all over it because New Japan has had a hard enough time gaining a foothold without WWE f____ing it up". So, only AEW and Impact can cross-brand and WWE can't? WWE, who people say are awful or whatever, aren't allowed to try and better themselves and those around them? Wrestling fans and their bias are a trip....
It was good to see the Uso's back together in the ring again. And to pick up the win against the Street Profits was huge! They get a tag title match next week and I'm thinking that's when Jey turns on Jimmy. I think we get Jimmy vs Jey this summer until Jey and Roman beat the will out of Jimmy like Roman did Jey last summer. Soon enough, we will get The Bloodline.
AEW Double Or Nothing predictions:
The Casino Battle Royal for a shot at the AEW Championship us hard to predict. Any battle royal is hard to predict. I'm going to say Christian but it could be anyone.
Adam Page will lose to Brian Cage, right? I'd like Page to win but it's not happening. Should be a fantastic match, though. Lots of potential great matches on this show. That said, the main event winner is a foregone conclusion. But I'll get to that.
Sting will have his first official match in years as he teams with Darby Allin vs Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Sting and Darby pick up the win here.
Cody Rhodes will lose to Anthony Ogogo. Wouldn't it make sense if you're trying to build a superstar? That said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if Cody won. I say he gets knocked out, though.
Miro defends the TNT Championship against "The Murderhawk Monster" Lance Archer. As much as I'd like to see Archer win gold, this probably won't be the night.
The Young Bucks will defend the tag championships against Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley. I actually think Eddie and Jon pull off the upset. It'd be entertaining to see these guys as champs.
Pinnacle vs Inner Circle in a Stadium Stampede match. If IC loses, they break up. I think they lose, split and go do their own things.
Kenny Omega will retain the AEW Championship against Pac and OC. Simple as that. Sorry Orange fans. Sorry Pac fans. Kenny is on too much of a roll for it to end now. In fact, I don't even know if the man who dethrones Kenny is even in AEW right now.
