Wrestle Review: Blood and Guts and Uso's
Submitted by Andy Sullivan on 05/08/2021 at 12:13 PM

Pinnacle winning Blood & Guts was the way it had to be. In order for this feud to continue, the heels had to get the W. But to threaten to throw Jericho off the cage if Santana didn't say "We Quit" and then throw him off anyway? That was a whole new level of heel. Kudos!

Next week, PAC and Orange Cassidy will meet to see who gets to lose to Kenny Omega at Double or Nothing. We all know it's Pac. Yes, the match between OC and Pac will be good but, this is about as forgone as the Reigns/Cesaro match at Backlash. Cody will announce his opponent for Double or Nothing and it's likely to be Anthony "Whiskey" Agogo. Look it up if you want to know why I call him Whiskey Agogo. AEW has quite a ways to go if they want to get me interested in seeing this match.

Jimmy Uso returned on Smackdown this week and it appears all might not be well in the family. The effect of last years HIAC finish still isn't sitting well with Jimmy. This is the type of long-term storytelling we've been begging for from WWE. This will lead to tensions within the family, some Jimmy vs Jey matches, some Roman vs Jimmy matches perhaps and, finally, Jimmy joining Jey, Roman and Paul. WWE will probably even start selling t-shirts that say The Family or Don't Go Against The Family. An eventual group with Roman as Universal Champion and the Uso's as tag champions, with Paul as their mouthpiece, would be epic heat!

Next weeks Dynamite is looking good: SCU vs Young Bucks for the tag titles, Mox vs Nagata for te IWGP title. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm getting introduced to MLW by way of AXS TV. Catch y'all next weekend!
