Wrestle Review: Monday Night Malaise Submitted by Andy Sullivan on 11/30/2018 at 11:17 PM
I can't with Raw anymore. I just can't. I was already having a rough Monday night because my Titans were getting throttled by the Texans. I went on Twitter and read just how bad Raw was. I sped through it in under an hour. Now I hear that the brain trust are going to split up Drew and Dolph. Granted, they have to if they're positioning Drew to be Universal Champion.
Are they going to continue with handicap match main events? That's what they did when they were doing the Corporation angle. I was wondering where they were going with the Braun Stroman/Corbin angle. I had no idea that Braun was going to be in a movie starring Will Ferrell. Adam Scherr, in a shocking bit of cast range, plays a wrestler in Holmes and Watson, in theatres Christmas day.
Remember when Impact announced they would be moving to 10 pm? The decision, which came from Pop TV, has unsurprisingly been very bad for the company. With 98,000 views, it was the least watched episode in company history. That was the Johnny Impact v Fenix show.
I like to take bits and pieces from shows. Actually, most of my wrestling viewing is WWE Network-old WWF/E stuff, old WCW stuff, etc. I was going to watch Raw on HULU but it wasn't available when I was available to watch. So, I just sped through my Hopper recording. As I said, it didn't take long.
I'm hoping for something, anything better in the coming week. That said, I'm not holding my breath. Besides, this is the busy time of year when watching wrestling in a timely manner might not be most people's #1 priority. We'll see what happens.
