WWE reportedly has “major interest” in both Danhausen and Private Party
According to Bodyslam.net, there are several AEW contracts that are set to expire by the end of 2025 including Chris Jericho (also stated by Raj Giri), Renee Paquette, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of 2.0, Danhausen, and Private Party. Bodyslam noted the following via Twitter/X…
“@WrestleMobs of Bodyslam and @IRISHWRESTLING8 has learned that WWE has major interest in both Danhausen and Private Party as their deals are believed to be up imminently. @SeanRossSapp reported last month that Danhausen’s contract was set to expire in July and WWE had preliminary interest in Private Party.”
Private Party (Quen & Zay) have not wrestled in AEW since losing the tag team titles to Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate on January 22nd 2025. Danhausen has not wrestled in AEW since the 2023 Worlds End PPV event.
