WWE NXT officials reportedly interested in TNA Wrestling star that has been working with the brand

As seen during the June 3rd 2025 edition of WWE NXT, Trick Williams retained the TNA Wrestling World Title against TNA’s Mike Santana.

According to PWInsider.com, there has been internal discussion within NXT over the past week regarding their interest in Santana following his recent appearances with the brand. Santana reportedly received “high marks” from WWE officials for his performance, with interest increasing after his match with Trick.

While Santana has been a topic of conversation among NXT officials, he is believed to be under contract with TNA through the end of 2025. Santana previously worked for AEW as part of the Proud & Powerful tag team with Ortiz.
