WWE news items regarding new NXT doctrine, Aliyah’s injury, and The Viking Raiders
Here are a few WWE news items for Friday, September 23rd via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and F4WOnline.com’s Dave Meltzer…
* There is said to be a new doctrine in NXT that “everyone who is signed from this point forward, as well as those who have started out, has two years to become ‘good enough’ to make NXT television or they will be cut.” Meltzer added that a lot of people are “on the clock” now.
* While it appears that Raquel Rodriguez has a new tag team partner in Shotzi, it’s possible that the angle was done merely to turn Shotzi back into a babyface. Meltzer noted that Aliyah’s injury wasn’t considered to be serious and she’s listed to return next week.
* According to Meltzer, The Viking Raiders are on the shelf for an “indefinite period of time” due to Erik suffering a foot injury.
