Claim made that there were plans for CM Punk to feud with the TNA world champion at one point

Despite internet speculation, CM Punk did not appear at the 2023 Bound For Glory PPV in Chicago as he attended the Chicago Blackhawks home opener game instead. However, Punk was reportedly backstage at the Impact tapings following BFG.

TNA star Moose, who met up with Punk backstage at WWE NXT this week, shared a photo they took together along with the following message…

“So while I was World Champ there were plans of Punk coming to TNA and us Feuding. Punk vs [Brock] Lesnar from SS2013 [Summerslam 2013] is one of my favorites matches ever. I was looking forward to recreating something just as awesome. But Obviously it never happened but who Knows. Shout out to @CMPunk GOAT.”

When a fan was skeptical of Moose’s claim, Moose issued the following response…

“Yessir I’m a filthy liar. I’m also a wife beater a known racist against my race I also support pedos and I’m the biggest scum of the earth. and no wrestling company is interested in me 👍🏽.”
