WWE could be introducing women’s Intercontinental and United States titles on the main roster

Over the weekend, it was reported by PWN that WWE is working on introducing women’s Intercontinental and United States titles on the main roster. Fightful.com later noted that the idea has been discussed but images being spread around social media were generated by AI and are not the actual designs.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following…

“Somebody texted me and just goes ‘It’s being reported out there that they are going to create women’s US and Intercontinental titles.’ And I asked and I was basically told that that is, in fact, what is being talked about. So, there you go. Two more championships, one on each brand.”

WWE recently introduced a women’s North American title for the NXT brand that was defended by Kelani Jordan at the 2024 Heatwave PLE.
