What is being said about Drew Gulak’s status with WWE following accusation made by Ronda Rousey

As previously noted, Ronda Rousey claimed that WWE star Drew Gulak acted inappropriately towards her while she was working for the company. Here is what Rousey said…

“This guy [Gulak] that was like barely an acquaintance with, grabs the string of, like, my sweat pants as I’m walking by. And like, nobody, like, I wasn’t even looking at him, you know?”

“This guy grabs the string my sweatpants and nobody else reacts as if this is abnormal. And he’s like, he comes out, and he starts going down the hall.”

Gulak, who has been part of the No Quarter Catch Crew in WWE NXT, addressed the accusation by saying it was a “complete accident.” Despite his comments, Gulak was written off WWE television during the April 16th 2024 edition of NXT when it was stated that The Tony D’Angelo Family “took care” of him.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com commented on Gulak’s WWE status…

Alvarez: “So there was an investigation regarding Drew Gulak and Ronda Rousey. And this was this was what they ended up doing. So, you know, we talked about it at the time that both sides claimed there were witnesses. So this one should have been easy. Just interview everybody that was there, find out what they said.”

Meltzer: “So what I was told was that there was no conclusive thing that the witnesses were not conclusive. And it was one person’s word against the other. But, you know, Gulak was bad publicity. So he got whacked.”

Alvarez: “So he’s still employed. However, to the best of our knowledge.”

Meltzer: “I don’t know. I don’t know that he’s been fired. But when I ask, it’s like, well, if he hasn’t been he probably will be. I mean, so yeah, I mean, it’s not looking good for him. Put it that way.” (quotes courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)
