What happened with InDex’s wedding and more news from WWE NXT

Here are some news items from the September 14th 2021 edition of WWE NXT which was the beginning of the 2.0 era…

* There was a happy ending to the Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell wedding segment with them becoming “married” and sealing the deal with a kiss. The segment was comedic in nature with Lumis showing an axe when it was asked if anybody objected to the wedding. Lumis also choked out the officiant which led to Beth Phoenix taking over since she had gotten an online license to become an ordained minister. Lumis actually spoke and said “I do” to Hartwell.

* In addition to Bron Breakker (Bronson Rechsteiner) and Von Wagner (Cal Bloom) debuting, there were several other appearances from newcomers Ivy Nile, Tony D’Angelo, Trick Williams, and Brooks Jensen who is the son of former WWE star Bull Buchanan.

* Johnny Gargano cut a promo for the live crowd after the show ended.
