What happened during the AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts steel cage match
In the main event of the May 5th 2021 AEW Dynamite, the Pinnacle defeated The Inner Circle in the Blood and Guts steel cage match. When MJF threatened to throw Jericho off the top of the cage, Sammy Guevara surrendered from down below to save Jericho. MJF ended up pushing Jericho off the top of the cage through a platform below anyways.
The bloody and violent match lasted most of the show’s second hour. The ring boards were exposed and the turnbuckle was also used as a weapon. There were other weapons brought into the match including a chair and a fork.
