Viewership numbers for AEW Rampage and WWE Smackdown (updated) are in
The first episode of AEW Rampage on Friday night drew 740,000 viewers with a 0.31 18-49 demo rating and the show finished 3rd for the night on cable television.
WWE Smackdown, which had an abnormally high overnight number of 2.499 million viewers, actually drew 2.084 million viewers with a 0.58 18-49 demo. The overnight number being significantly higher than usual was due to NFL pre-season games airing instead of Smackdown in several markets including Detroit, MI.
The correct demo rating for Rampage is 0.31, not 0.30. Rounding mistake on my part.
