Update on the report that claims Kazuchika Okada is now “likely heading to WWE”

As previously noted, an article on monthlypuroresu.com claimed that Okada is now “likely heading to WWE” once he finishes up his remaining NJPW commitments.

Fightful.com noted that sources across WWE, AEW, and NJPW have said that the reports of Okada to WWE and NXT are “premature” at this time. F4WOnline.com is also reporting the following in regards to if Okada is WWE bound…

“Those close to Okada had no knowledge of the situation. Okada had told a few friends this past week that he had not made a decision and those in WWE had not heard of any such deal.”

WWE NXT star Dijak commented on the rumors with the following message via Twitter/X…

“I don’t give the slightest shit about wrestling Okada unless he’s the NXT Champion so you can take your fantasy booking nonsense and go F yourself with it.”
