Update on Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Bronson Reed possibly heading to the WWE main roster

As previously noted, NXT World Champion Karrion Kross along with Scarlett and North American Champion Bronson Reed were backstage at the June 18th 2021 edition of WWE Smackdown.

In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote the following…

“Kross wrestled Dolph Ziggler while Reed faced off with Bobby Roode. The bouts were taped for future evaluation and there are no current plans to use them for public consumption.”

It was also noted that there was talk of having Kross and Scarlett attend Smackdown next week to cut some promos.

Johnson brought up how WWE is evaluating NXT wrestlers for potential call-ups to the main roster since the Draft is coming up this summer and WWE is looking to shake things up with the rosters.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following about WWE’s plans with Kross…

“Karrion Kross is getting fast tracked to the main roster. I don’t know when it is, but from the day he signed there was a question of how long until they bring him up. He’ll get his chance. They like his look, he talks well, he’s got good facial expressions. So, you know, we’ll see.” (quote courtesy of RingsideNews.com)
