Update on Drew McIntyre’s status with WWE following his return at Money in the Bank

As seen during the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank PLE, Drew McIntyre made his first appearance since Wrestlemania 39.

In regards to Drew McIntyre’s contractual status with WWE, PWInsider.com noted that it hasn’t changed and “the two sides have not yet come to terms on a new deal or extension.” McIntyre’s contract reportedly expires in 2024 and discussions are said to have not started because there is still “so much time left.”

For the time being, the two sides came to a creative agreement for McIntyre’s return. McIntyre will be feuding with Gunther moving forward and he is expected to appear on Monday’s edition of RAW.

McIntyre vs. Gunther is rumored to take place at the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE.
