Update on Drew McIntyre’s condition after table spot with Damian Priest at WWE Backlash 2025

As seen during the 2025 WWE Backlash PLE, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre fought on top of a production crate. Priest then delivered a South of Heaven chokeslam to McIntyre through two tables below.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, McIntyre was evaluated by WWE’s medical team as his head missed the table and “hit the floor hard.” However, Paul “Triple H” Levesque stated the following during the post-show press conference…

“Luckily, everybody is healthy. I think Priest got a tooth that he’s hoping will stay inside of his head for a couple days here and get solid again. Other than that, Drew McIntyre, a little banged up but totally fine.” (quote courtesy of Jeremy Lambert)
