Update on certain people in AEW reportedly being told to not show up for AEW Collision

It was previously reported that multiple people in AEW were told to not show up for AEW Collision since the show’s debut including “Hangman” Adam Page, Ryan Nemeth, Matt Hardy, and Christopher Daniels.

Nick Hausman of HausOfWrestling.com had more details regarding the situation with Daniels…

“Daniels’ involvement in the post-AEW All Out altercation was specifically portrayed to us as the reason The Fallen Angel is not at Collision. Since Ace Steel, CM Punk’s good friend, was also involved in the altercation but not allowed to return backstage for Collision, Punk is said to feel the same about Daniels and does not want him backstage either.”

In regards to Nemeth, it was said that his tweet in June about Punk “did him no favors.” Punk reportedly believes that Nemeth “showed his willingness to unnecessarily stir the pot” backstage in AEW.

There is no addition word regarding the situations with Page and Hardy. However, Hausman was told that Punk’s comments about Page following Collision “did not come across how he would have liked them and that he felt bad about them afterward.”
