Update on Bobby Lashley’s status with WWE following injury angle at Elimination Chamber
As seen during the 2022 men’s WWE Elimination Chamber match, former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley was taken out of the match early due to “concussion protocol.” It was later reported that Lashley is actually dealing with a legitimate shoulder injury and could miss several months of action if he has surgery.
In an update on Lashley, he is no longer being advertised to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title at the Madison Square Garden live event on March 5th. Steve Carrier of RingsideNews.com noted the following…
“Bobby Lashley walked into the Elimination Chamber with a damaged shoulder. His name was also recently taken off the MSG event. We are told that ‘Lashley is trying to get cleared, not only for MSG but for WrestleMania.’ Fingers crossed he can get cleared in time.”
