Tony Khan responds to WWE/NJPW report and calls Nick Khan a “con-man from Connecticut”
Prior to the May 28th 2021 edition of AEW Friday Night Dynamite, Tony Khan addressed the report about WWE being in talks with New Japan Pro Wrestling in regards to a potential exclusive partnership. Khan sarcastically talked about how much WWE President Nick Khan has done over the past two months with the NJPW talks and then brought up all the NJPW moments on AEW Dynamite television. After stating that AEW has future plans with NJPW, Tony finished by saying there is only room for one Khan in the wrestling business and it’s him instead of some “con-man” from Connecticut.
