There was reportedly a backstage confrontation between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All In

As previously noted, there was an “argument” between CM Punk and Jack Perry around the launch of AEW Collision. Perry apparently wanted to use real glass for a segment and Punk was against the idea.

During Perry’s match against Hook at All In’s Zero Hour kickoff show, there was a spot involving a car windshield. Perry seemingly took a shot at CM Punk when he said to the camera, “It’s real glass, cry me a river.”

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, there was a physical confrontation between Punk and Perry right before Punk went through the curtain for his PPV match against Samoa Joe. Perry was reportedly not happy about how the glass story came out publicly.

According to Fightful, Perry approached Punk backstage and “stepped in his face.” After Perry allegedly “bumped” Punk, Punk pushed Perry. Perry then came at Punk and was said to have been “choked.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com also reported about the incident and stated the following…

“Backstage, the two came across each other. The prevailing story later making the rounds is that Perry confronted Punk, leading to the two shoving each other. As we previously stated, from there, the first story was Punk struck Perry. However, the version that is becoming most shared is that Perry was caught in a choke. Punk is still backstage at Wembley Stadium. We are told that Perry was ordered to leave and is no longer at the Stadium.”

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted to his Twitter/X subscribers that Punk was in his dressing room with security.
