There are reportedly two issues with WWE running WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas that need to be worked out

On Thursday, it was reported that WrestleMania 42 will not taking place in New Orleans despite WWE’s announcement and a new location was to be determined. It was noted by NOLA.com that WWE “would rather hold next year’s event in Las Vegas.”

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, sources in Las Vegas confirmed that Allegiant Stadium has been reserved for WrestleMania 42 on April 18th and April 19th 2026. However, Meltzer stated that there are two issues that need to be worked out.

Meltzer wrote the following…

“There is a concert booked at the stadium that has not been announced that makes the moving in and setting up the stadium too tight. Those in charge of the stadium have attempted to move the concert date but the promoters have said that they have a contract for that date and thus far have been unwilling to move.”

Additionally, the Las Vegas Convention Center, which hosted WWE fan events for WrestleMania 41, has limited space for that weekend due to another event. WWE could end up using less space in the building or move to a different convention center such as Mandalay Bay.
