As previously noted, Moose’s contract with Impact Wrestling was reportedly set to expire this coming June.

With Moose now being the #1 contender for the Kenny Omega’s Impact World Title, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about Moose’s status with the company…

“Right now it looks like Moose is either close to agreeing to sign a new deal or has done so, and that changes the dynamic of Omega vs. Moose from when it would be Moose’s last big match in the company.”
