Speculation about Tony Khan’s “huge” AEW announcement
AEW President Tony Khan is scheduled to make a rare on-camera appearance during tonight’s Dynamite to make a “huge” announcement. Khan recently stated that the announcement is “something very important in the wrestling business.” During today’s Busted Open Radio, Khan explained that he will be making the announcement himself because “it’s only under the most important circumstances that I’ll go out there.”
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast noted the following…
“A lot of chatter regarding Tony’s big announcement tonight. Spoke to someone this morning and was told that ‘In many circles, it’s believed AEW & HBO Max have agreed to a deal.’ Also, mentioned AEW has secured access to an ‘International Pro Wrestling Promotions catalog.'”
