Sheamus’ WWE contract is reportedly set to expire in 2024

According to Fightful.com, Sheamus’ WWE contract is up in 2024. While not confirmed, it’s believed that Sheamus’ deal is up in the early part of the year and possibly expires around the same time as Drew McIntyre’s contract. It’s believed that McIntyre’s contract expires around Wrestlemania 40.

Sheamus, who is 45 years old, has been on a lighter schedule over the past couple of months. Sheamus’ last match was on the August 18th 2023 edition of Smackdown when he lost to Edge.

In June, Sheamus publicly expressed creative frustration and claimed that WWE didn’t fully capitalized on The Brawling Brutes’ potential. In August, Sheamus commented on how he felt that his “organic momentum” from 2022 was “wasted” coming off Clash at the Castle.
