Sheamus says a lot of matches from the WWE Attitude Era were just “6,000 kicks, 6,000 punches”
During an interview with The Late Run, WWE star Sheamus brought up how “there’s a huge thing for nostalgia” in sports and professional wrestling…
“I think there’s always a thing about nostalgia—it feels better than what it is. And you go back, and sometimes like everyone talks about the Attitude Era. The Attitude Era was like balls to the wall, right? Anything goes.
But if you go back and look at a lot of those matches, they’re just like 6,000 kicks, 6,000 punches.
The crowd was so hot. What made that era so great was the crowd. The crowd was just nuts.”
